Natural Keyboard shortcuts

You can use the following keyboard shortcuts with a Microsoft Natural Keyboard or any other compatible keyboard that includes the Windows logo key (WK) and the Application key (MK).

Display or hide the Start menu.

WK+BREAK

Display the System Properties dialog box.

WK+M

Minimize or restore all windows.

WK+E

Open My Computer.

WK+F

Search for a file or folder.

CTRL+ WK+F

Search for computers.

WK+F1

Display Windows 2000 Help.

WK+R

Open the Run dialog box.

WK+TAB

Switch between open items.

MK

Display the shortcut menu for the selected item.

WK+U

Open Utility Manager

Notes

  • Some keyboard shortcuts may not work if StickyKeys is turned on in Accessibility Options.
  • If you are connected to Windows 2000 through Microsoft Terminal Services Client, some shortcuts have changed. For more information, see the online documentation for Terminal Services Client.
